For most of the morning cars were stretching down Collins Way, the road leading to the clinic as people waited to be tested.
"It's all moving pretty well," said one of those waiting in the line.
The Shoalhaven has been thrown into COVID-19 alert after it was revealed a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 from Melbourne was in Jervis Bay, Hyams Beach, Vincentia and Goulburn while potentially infectious on May 23-24.

Nowra woman Melba, was taking her eight-year-old great granddaughter in for a test.
"It's a requirement of her school," she said.
"She had a runny nose and a cough - I don't think she's got COVID - I think it's just a chill from football at the weekend.
"She's not happy about it [having to get a test] but we just have to do it.
"I've had my first COVID vaccination and have to wait until August for my second shot.
"I have a low immune system so it's important to stay healthy.
"We just have to take these precautions."
