At her team's campaign launch for the September 4 election, Ms Digiglio called for "simple language" in council and an end to voting blocs which she believed were undemocratic.
"Have you ever read any of those business papers? How they discombobulate you? They need to be simple so that the community actually knows what's going on," she said.

Her team is called Shoalhaven Community First, which she said were a team of "real people".
"Real people with values, kindness, respect, integrity and compassion. The world we need to happen," she said.
Admitting she made some mistakes in her time, Cr Digiglio said she would employ science in order to get the best outcomes for the community.
The launch campaign was joined by former South Coast MP and anti-corruption crusader John Hatton.
He said some Shoalhaven councillors had "hijacked democracy in this area for far too long".
According to Mr Hatton, some councillors engaged in "petty and childish debate" and did not value commitment, family, cooperation, inclusion, industry and creativity.
And Cr Digiglio said various departments in council could do with more support, including the community services department and the planning department.
"We need to work more in conjunction with developers and let them know what the community wants. We need it to be community outcome focused and not developer outcome focused," she said.
"So every single person on my team has a project that they bring to the table and that they're working on their communities."
Her team consists of:
