Dancers from as far afield as Sydney, Wollongong, Dapto, Shellharbour, Sutton Forest, Batemans Bay and Moruya together with local dancers were greeted by vintage cars and were ready to take a step back in time for a fun filled night of champagne, supper and of course dancing.
All were dressed in roaring 20's attire and inspired with a feeling of decadence and joy ready to let their hair down after a long and boring period of Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns.

The evening was put together by locals Joe and Kay Fenech who's organisational abilities were second to none.
The beautiful 130 year old building was tastefully decorated in 1920's theme and combined with a wonderful choice of music for the evening, set the perfect atmosphere for a great night of dancing, laughter and merriment.
The beautiful dance floor, which is the biggest and best in Nowra, gave a perfect surface for ballroom dancing.
Joe gave a special thank you to Ross and Mary Stuart for their 1930s Buick and Simon and Jade Agar for their 1926 Chandler which made for some very authentic photos.
"Another special thank you to Bruce Williams and Di Fielding for their great photography giving us all special memories of the night. And of course a big thank you to all the dancers and helpers who supported the event." said Joe.
"As the official opening of the Nowra School of Arts was May of 1892, we may have to celebrate again next year."
The Nowra Dance Group meet at the School of Arts of a Wednesday night from 7pm - 9pm.
