In Nowra, over 300 residents, veterans and families attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Solder's Memorial Gates at the Nowra Showgrounds.

While the event was roped off to keep the public separate from the invited guests, the sun was shining while a number of wreaths were laid by veterans, family members and school children.
With COVID-safe measures in place, the public gathered through the streets outside the roped off area.
The Last Post was played by the Shoalhaven City Pipes and Drums band for a minute silence.
There was no traffic control or street diversions, and although there was no march in Nowra and no catching up with regulars at the RSL, at least this year there was a public service with a large crowd honouring those who served our country.
