Fresh off a win against premiers Central Coast, the Scott Balsar-coached outfit headed to the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre on Saturday to face the St George Saints - headlined by former Shoalhaven Tiger Josh Watts.
Behind 27 points from Harry Morris and 20 by Harrison Matthew, the Hawks flew to a 86-75 win over the hosts.
Zachary Ottosson (15) also scored in double-figures for the visitors.
Balsar's troops then backed up less than 24 hours later against the Sydney Comets at Comets Stadium.
Despite finding themselves down by as many as 16 points during the third quarter, the red and whites fought back to take the lead after a three-pointer by Brandon Freire at the start of the fourth quarter.
But the hosts held their nerve down the stretch, to edge out the Hawks 89-84 in a tightly fought contest.
Freire top-scored for the Hawks in the loss with 24, while Matthew and Ottossen added 22 and 10 respectively.
The Hawks will now re-group ahead of Saturday's home Waratah League fixture with the 0-1 Blacktown Storm - which tips off at 3.30pm at the Snakepit.
