But at least the campout, at Owen and Thelma Ison's property on Milbank Road got through three of its four day schedule, with Sunday's program called off due to the ongoing rain.
More than 200 caravans converged on the 21-acre property.
"People travelled from all over NSW, Queensland, Victoria and even a couple from Tasmania," Mr Ison said.
"It was great, but the one thing we can't control is the weather."

Late last week, as the rain consistently started to tumble down, Mr Ison said the event would go ahead as planned.
And true to his word, all but Saturday night's program and the last day of the popular event went ahead.
"It just got too wet unfortunately," Mr Ison said who had to make the tough decision to cancel the rest of the weekend's activities between 4-5pm on Saturday.
"The crowd was great, they were under cover and were having a great time and our performers pushed on but the rain just didn't let up," he said.
"We didn't want to cancel but in the end it just got too dangerous and we had to think of all the electrical equipment."
And while the crowd was disappointed, Mr Ison said they understood.
"One of the most pleasing things of the whole weekend was we had a number of campers who this was the first time they'd actually been to the event," he said.
"That's great and most have said they will be back again next year."
The event did operate with a COVID plan in place, everyone had to check in with QR code while there were numerous sanitising stations throughout the property.
Anyone who knows 'Owie', knows he's a pretty laid back and as philosophical as ever "we'll just do it all again next year," he said.
While the fundraising efforts are still being tallied, donations will again be made to local charities and organisations.
And as for 2022, yep it will all be back on again from March 31-April 3.
