Diagnosed in 2016 after a routine mammogram, every time she has a cancer related appointment, Janine posts it on Facebook for all to see.
As she explains, "if that post can save someone's life, then it will be worth it."
And as the ambassador for the 2021 Nowra Relay for Life event Janine is more determined than ever to support the local fundraising efforts.
That even extends as far as welcoming anyone who might want to take part in the relay but hasn't got a team to join her, on Team Janine

After being cancelled last year, the Nowra Relay for Life, is back in 2021, in fact the official date is just over a week away on Saturday, March 20.
However, the Cancer Council event will be held in an altered format this year. Again due to COVID, and the first concern being to keep the community safe, this year's event is being held virtually, "Relay Your Way".
There will be no major relay event as such at the Nowra Showground as in past years, instead teams are being encouraged to do their own events through the month of March.
"Relay for Life is a team event, but for those who want to participate and don't yet have a team, here's the answer: Team Janine," Janine said.
You can join her virtual team to Relay Your Way.
Even though the team members may be in different locations on the day, Janine says she is looking forward to raising money and enjoying the company of others via social media on March 20.
The Relay for Life is a 24-hour fundraising event for the NSW Cancer Council and has been held annually in Nowra since 2004.
The 2021 Relay will be a "Relay Your Way" event where teams will meet and fundraise in team "bubbles" during the month of March.
Key events will be streamed via social media channels www.cancercouncil.com.au/event/relay-for-life-nowra/.
