McMillan was entered in five events over three days of racing and collected four silver and one bronze medal from the series to make him the best performed Nowra Velo track star in recent years.
He began his campaign on Friday when he raced the qualifying rounds of the individual pursuit and the sprint.
McMillan is not known as a track endurance rider but took his first silver medal in the final of the pursuit.
He had placed third in this event in 2020 and another silver medal followed in the sprint final.
Saturday afternoon's action included the scratch events where he raced over 40 laps for a 10-kilometre race, where he added his first and only bronze medal of the series.
Racing continued on Sunday morning and this was the leg snapping 500-metre individual times trial.
McMillan admitted his legs were feeling the strain but his recent endurance training stood him in good stead and he took his third silver medal in this event - just one and a half seconds away from gold.
All riders were now feeling the sting in the legs from the previous events but the 10-kilometre points race was the final event to be contested.
McMillan rode a cautious race, not trying to break up or escape the field but taking points as often as possible in the various sprints to gain another silver medal.
This was an outstanding performance from a rider without a home track.
He trains twice a week on the Unanderra velodrome, travelling from Berry.
He also backs this up with endurance road kilometres.
The Australian Masters Track Cycling Championships are on at the Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane in four weeks and with these performances, McMillan will be in form for that series.

Steve Gendek also raced this series of masters championships, entering in his age divisions scratch race and points race.
Gendek races in a very strong age division against world champions and as a newcomer to track racing was unable to gain a podium position.
The under 19 women's individual pursuit championship had been deferred due to a COVID-19 scare three weeks ago and that event was included in the program over the weekend.
Amelia Trkulja had missed racing in other under 19 women's event last weekend due to illness but she rebounded and raced into third position for the bronze medal in the NSW championship.
Local racing returns for the Nowra Velo Club next weekend with the Jack Hartnett Memorial as a 42-kilometre handicap road race on Sunday.
