Several people were injured in the crash at the intersection of Mount Agony Road, Benandarah on Sunday, February 21.
Just before 12.30pm, police said a Toyota Camry, that had come from Batemans Bay, was waiting to turn right onto Mount Agony Road.
"It was giving way to southbound traffic," a police spokesman said.
Police said a car behind the Camry safely maneuvered around, however, a woman in a Ford Ranger that was heading north, collided with the stationary Camry.
"The Ranger then flipped on its roof, sliding on the road 20-25 metres," the police spokesman said.
The 26-year-old ACT driver of the Ranger was taken to Shoalhaven hospital.
As a result of the collision, the Camry was pushed into oncoming traffic.
A southbound Volkswagen Golf crashed into the Camry.
Police said the 27-year-old ACT driver of the Golf was taken to hospital with minor injuries as well as his female passenger with possible pelvic and chest pain.
It took Fire and Rescue crews one hour to release a 34-year-old female passenger who was trapped in the Camry.
She was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital and then airlifted to Moruya hospital with possible spinal, leg and pelvic injuries.
