Unfortunately, for the Nowra Anglican College alumnus, it hasn't translated into many wins through the opening eight matches of the 2021 campaign.
The Senators started with a 108-100 win against Frostburg State on January 7 before dropping their next two fixtures to Fairmont State (87-70) and Glenville State (90-85).
The side improved to 2-2 on the year by downing Concord (67-56).
That proved to be the Senators last victory, as Leslie's outfit have dropped their past four matches to Charleston (83-74), West Virginia State (92-81), Wheeling (84-71) and Norte Dame (Ohio) (98-91).
This is all despite Leslie, who was named Basketball NSW youth men's division two MVP in October, being promoted to the starting five, where he is averaging 10.25 points, 6.75 rebounds and 1.75 three-pointers per game, during the past four contests.
The former Shoalhaven Tiger and his side will look to return to the winner's circle on Wednesday, February 10 when they host West Virginia Wesleyan at the McDonnell Centre.
