Police say the female driver of a vehicle which crashed down a Kings Highway embankment has died.

The woman was flown to The Canberra Hospital after the crash at Currowan at about 12.30pm on Sunday, January 31, but died on Monday morning.
"About 12.30pm a Toyota Prius was travelling east on the Kings Highway at Currowan, about 25km north west of Batemans Bay, when it left the road and landed 12m down an embankment," police said.
"A property owner discovered the crash and alerted emergency services.
"The driver and sole occupant, a 68-year-old woman, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to The Canberra Hospital with serious injuries.
"The woman died in hospital earlier today (Monday, February 1, 2021).
"A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner."
