A woman whose car plunged from the Kings Highway down an embankment has been flown to Canberra in a serious condition.

Police said a rural property owner at Currowan, west of Batemans Bay, discovered the woman after she crashed at about 12.30pm on Sunday, January 31.
"A Toyota Prius was travelling east on the Kings Highway at Currowan, about 25km north west of Batemans Bay, when it left the road and landed 12m down an embankment," police said.
"A property owner discovered the crash and alerted emergency services.
"The driver and sole occupant, a 68-year-old woman, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital with serious injuries.
"Officers from South Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.
"An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
