Maddinson returns to the Melbourne Stars squad after recovering from a sprained ankle and takes the place of overseas player Nicholas Pooran, who has returned home.
Melbourne Stars have named a 15-man squad for tonight's KFC BBL|10 clash against Adelaide Strikers at Adelaide Oval and Maddinson looms as a key player.

Tonight's clash is the first of back-to-back matches against the Strikers, with the return leg to be played as the Stars' first home game of the season on January 15 at the MCG.
