Jervis Bay Road to get flyover
That's great, now all we need is for the Milton Ulladulla Bypass to come out south of Burrill Lake. Shelley you know how chaotic it's going to be for Burrill residents if it comes out at Canberra Crescent. Please support the Burrill Lake residents in getting the bypass south of Burrill Lake.

The current flyover design (apparently) adds two roundabouts to the intersection. Surely we can squeeze more roundabouts in there somewhere! Perhaps some speed humps and a chicane, like the monstrosity on Albatross Road will slow, confuse and frustrate traffic flow even further. The solution to traffic congestion is not to slow and hinder traffic, but rather reduce or eliminate the obstacles to traffic flow. I suggest the flyover does not need to cater for (minimal) northbound traffic turning into JB Rd; This model would increase the time and difficulty for most drivers entering JB Rd from the South, as they would suddenly need to give way to vehicles exiting JB Rd. The flyover only needs to cater for northbound traffic exiting JB Rd. This simplified solution removes any requirement for roundabouts either side of the flyover, allowing all traffic exiting JB road to do so seamlessly much less construction.

Brilliant decision. Traffic will able to be continuously free flowing as it should be. Five Islands intersection should have been done the same. Pine Forest road and the highway intersection will need to be a flyover eventually because of the ever growing population out Callala way. Designed appropriately it will give those employed at HMAS Albatross a far safer way to access BTU road.

The chosen option is definitely the very best design for road safety of the intersection at Jervis Bay Road and the Princes Highway. Two previous overpass designs of Oak Flats and Shellharbour are surely successful models. Congratulations to those persons who have made this choice.

The overpass should only be a start to make the narrow winding JB Rd safer. As with its dangerous bordering trees right to its edge, all the way along. In fact there have probably been more fatalities on it, then at the site for the overpass.

Congratulations on the approval for the flyover at the intersection of Jervis Bay Road and the Princes Highway. This will be very welcomed by residents and tourists alike. Is it possible to given attention to the shocking state of the roads throughout Culburra Beach. Many of these roads are becoming dangerous with huge potholes and deterioration of the road surfaces. Culburra has an increasing number of tourists as well as tradesmen due to the increased number of people moving to this area. The roads are terrible. I'd be interested to know of Council's plans for improving the roads throughout Culburra Beach.

Neglected and vandalised
The wealthy village of Callala beach is heaving and it's not yet school holidays. And yet, the shiny new shopping precinct lies neglected and vandalised. Where we once got our bread, milk, ice creams, good coffee and gossip there is an empty shop with ladders and paint brushes downed. The vandalised hoardings add insult to injury.
Surely someone in the Shoalhaven knows how to run a proper cafe, and wants to make a motza? As Henry Ford said, 'Build it, and they will come'. Well here's ya chance. Provide great barista made coffee, milkshakes, ice creams and fish chips... whatever! are all the necessities for beach goers. It works everywhere else, it can boom in Lala Beach.
