Croquet royalty was in the Shoalhaven earlier this week with former world number one Alison Sharpe undertaking a number of coaching clinics at the Nowra Croquet Club. Sharpe, who is currently No 2 in the world, put local players through their paces over the two-day country clinic at the Nowra Croquet Club's courts at Bomaderry. Over the two days Alison coached groups and individuals in the finer points of Golf Croquet as well as joining members in social games of Association Croquet and Golf Croquet. The participants in the group and individual coaching were impressed with her friendliness and her knowledge which she imparted to improve their games.
