THE Culburra Fishing Club's November weekend event [7th to the 8th] started well with a south west wind under 10 knots for those that hit the water early.

Then at about 10am the wind picked up to around 25 knots and turned southerly.
It calmed a little on Sunday but was still a bumpy ocean.
The club had 13 people weigh-in - 10 for deep sea and three for beach rock and estuary including one junior weighing a total of 77 fish.
Well done to Joelene Paterson who weighed the largest fish, a groper at 4.2kg and Robert Medved who weighed the most fish with 14.

Fish caught this month included Nannygai, luderick, trevally, morwong, wrasse, flathead, snapper, red rock cod, beardie, pigfish and groper.
