If you're a parent looking for some extra help and support for your kids, you can find it in Tomerong this month.
A team of clinicians from Royal Far West (RFW) will visit from November 9-13 to provide a range of support activities as part of their Bushfire Recovery Program.
In addition to providing school sessions for some students, RFW staff are also providing sessions for parents/carers.

The parents and carer session will be held on Tuesday, November 10 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Children are welcome, however parents will be required to supervise them during this time.
The session will provide a brief education about what children need after experiencing community trauma.
Simple techniques to support children's anxiety or changes in behaviour (e.g. aggression, increased clinginess, unsettledness) will also be discussed.
There will be help available to parents to support their children to understand and express emotions in appropriate ways.
For more information or to register you interest contact Laura Abley, Social Worker at Royal Far West: lauraa@royalfarwest.org.au.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers are restricted and it is helpful you register in advance to attend a session. Walk-ins will be welcomed if space permits.
