KEMBLA Joggers held an open night on Thursday, October 22 with a contingency of 14 Nowra athletes travelling to Wollongong to compete.

Nine of these athletes ran personal best times - what a fantastic way to start the season with their first race on the tartan.
In the open's 800m heat one, Cam Musgrove took the win in 1.59.0 in front of Kembla Joggers' Dylan Holland while Will Dyball was third in 2:01.7.
Nash Hay was fifth in 2:08.9 and Jake Pepper was ninth in 2:21.7.
In heat two, first home for Nowra was Cooper Barrett in third place in 2:19.9.
Erin Smart was fifth in 2:24.0 with Peter Dooley sixth in 2:28.9.
Seventh was Jett Goddard in 2:32.3 and then in ninth place was Ella Dyball in 2:33.4.
Heat three was won by Kembla Joggers athlete Ben Christian with Toby Dyball second in 2:31.2.
Airlie Stevens was seventh in 2:45.9 followed by Dakota Farn in eighth place in 2:46.2.
In the open's 3000m, Geoff Crook ran well clocking 14:54.4.
Nowra sprinters also had a good night with Reilly Caswell finishing second in heat two of the 200m in 24.4 and Erin Smart running in fifth in 26.7.
