A shortened season due to COVID-10 saw eight Nowra Warriors teams take the field and play in a competitive, friendly and passionate manner week after week.
Thank you to the Warrior community for their support and cooperation during a challenging season.
Due to the COVID regulations, the Nowra Warriors Junior Rugby League Club did not hold a full club presentation.
Each team held their own small COVID-safe presentation, as each player received a medallion representing their 2020 participation.
The Les Harris Memorial Warrior of the Year was presented at a recent committee meeting.
Congratulations to Bianca Perry who received this well-deserved accolade this year.
Bianca filled the roles of registrar and secretary for the NWJRLC this season.
She worked tirelessly to keep the club functioning and to keep the players on the field during this difficult year.
A selfless act, as her own son did not participate this season.
The team trophy winners for the under six Kangaroos went to Narli Deaves (Best and Fairest) and Jasiah Crossley-Burns (Coach's Award), while Seth Mumberson (Best and Fairest) and Ryder O'Brien (Coach's Award) took out the under six Joeys prizes.
Hunter Ganderton (Best and Fairest) and Cooper Lucke (Coach's Award) stood out in the under seven Kangaroos, as
Makonnen Hepi-Te Hula (Best and Fairest) and Jordan Acton (Coach's Award) were recognised by the under seven Joeys.
The under nines gongs went to Jonathon Murray (Best and Fairest) and Huey Piert (Coach's Award), with Jerome Carpenter (Best and Fairest) and Jet Lang (Coach's Award) standing out in the under 10s.
Finally, Nate Stewart (Best and Fairest) and Ryder Terry (Coach's Award) were the under 13s recipients, as Bailey Soper (Best and Fairest) and Malakai Essex (Coach's Award) received awards in the under 14s.
The 2020 President's Choice Award went Hugh Regan - who also, along with Nate Stewart and Zac Cruickshank, brought up 100-game milestones.
Congratulations to all players, the Warrior community and club committee members on a successful season - see you all next year!
