The Coffeeliscious team were on top of the leaderboard going into this program and they still hold the lead but this has been cut back to a mere 10 points.
Coffeeliscious also came with a plan but it did not work out.
Allen Price and Scarratts also topped the series leaders while Hanlon Windows was their equal.
Richard Vitiello (Access) used one of his trademark moves to take out the B grade race by five lengths from Scott Delfs (Illawarra CC) and Steve Gendek (Allen Price and Scarratts).
Vitiello hit them up the back straight as the leaders eased and he was gone to the finish line.
The only other Access rider in this grade was Ben Wallis who placed fifth.
Coffeeliscious had three in this race including team sprinters Mike Berriman and Brad Oaten and strong man Phil Rice.
But it did not work out for them.
Allen Price and Scarratts added points with Mark Williams taking fourth.
The second Access win came from Geoff Lockhart in a bunch sprint finish.
Lockhart beat his young teammate Ryan Fleming with Jason Spence (Coffeeliscious) third ahead of Josh Henry (Access) and Coffeeliscious duo, Brendon Miller and Adrian McMillan.
C grade had 16 starters and lost only one along the way.
Two super aggressive moves came from club juniors in these events when Josh Ludman (Hanlon Windows) went off the front alone in the B race and held off a chasing bunch for over 10 minutes before being reeled in.
Liam Wallis (Access) skipped away from the C grade field as that race was winding down.
Liam drove it hard for four laps and held that lead through the bell only to be swamped around the back.
These two along with other juniors are knocking on the door of grade elevation as the NVC looks towards 2021.
Hubert Driehuis (Allen Price and Scarratts) extended his overall points lead in the individual classification of this Optus Series with a D grade win.
Hubert outsmarted the grade sprinters for the win, holding off Steve Daley (Access) and Matt Grootenboer (Access).
Bill Stahlhut (Hanlon) was fourth ahead of Zara Jobson (APS) with her best bunch finish so far.
Then followed Martyn Smith (Coffeeliscious), Greg Showell (Coffeeliscious) and Scott Jobson (NVC).
John Cullity missed out on the finish after a minor fall around the back of the course.
Illawarra Cycle Club took the other race win on this program with Merrick Law winning A grade with a 10-metre margin.
This was not the usual fast A grade event but more of a tactical decider.
Law won out on the tactics while Levi Johns (Hanlon Windows) led his teammate, Dan Wells over the line.
Nathan Crump (Access) was fourth ahead of Brooklyn Henry (APS) and Coby Muir (Coffeeliscious).
Next Sunday will be the Nowra Velo Club's mountain championship, a six-kilometre haul up Woodhill Mountain.
