A hazard reduction burn at Currarong has spotted beyond its containment line to the east of Crookhaven Parade.

"It's in heath, so it's putting up a fair bit of smoke," RFS spokesperson Ben Shepherd said.
"A helicopter has been requested to help contain the spot-overs, and conditions are favourable for containment."
Mr Shepherd said there is no thread to life or property at this time.
The fire remains at advice level.
