Rachel was determined 2020 would be her year to find a job, and her tenacity served her well.
She recently scored a gig as a hairdressers assistant at Moe and Co in Nowra.
Rachel, who has Down Syndrome, said she loves her new job.
"I think it's a good fit for my personality," she said.
"My favourite part is all of it - I'm so excited, I told everyone in my family."
Rachel said the support she got from Campbell Page helped her develop the confidence she needed to ace her interview.
"I had an awesome person beside me all the time," she said.
That "awesome person" Tamara Wilkinson, said she will continue to support Rachel as she settles in.
"She's pretty sassy and independent - we're so excited she's achieved her goal," Ms Wilkinson said.
"It's good for the community to see a diverse salon as well.
"More people should be willing to give people with a disability a go."
Salon owner Karlie Cope said Rachel had settled in well, and was keen for further training.
"I think she's going to do really well," Ms Cope said.
As for what's next for Rachel - she has big plans.
"I'd like to be famous sometime," she said.
We have no doubt she's got the confidence to do it.
