The gates will open at 10am on Saturday and general manager Matt George said ticket sales will be available online on Thursday.
Mr George said many details were still being finalised on Wednesday when the tourist attraction received some good news from NSW Health
"We just received notification of a capacity limit of 5000," he said.
Mr George said Jamberoo Action Park was aware people were already wanting to book online but was waiting for the latest information about social distancing and visitor number restrictions before making them available.
Up until this week the theme park thought it would be restricted to 500 people at a time but now will be able to employ more casual staff this Spring and Summer. Those decisions are based on attendance and more visitation means more jobs.
Mr George said season passes were presently being reviewed and decisions will be made about those once they know how restrictions are likely to change throughout the season.
"We are extremely confident in our COVIDSafe Plan which has received positive feedback from both NSW Health and SafeWork NSW," he said.
"This will be available on our website to give guests confidence in the additional safety and hygiene measures we have put in place. Our unique environment provides four hectares of guest accessible space and chlorinated water to act as an ongoing sanitising agent.
"To help celebrate our 40th season, buying tickets online will not only save time and money but guests will also save on last year's ticket price. We hope that our 'buy online and save' strategy will encourage as many guests as possible to celebrate our 40th season with us."
Mr George said Jamberoo Action Park has teamed up with Refund Protect to provide guests who choose the product with protection if they are unable to attend the park as expected for a range of personal circumstances.
He said as part of the 40th birthday celebrations Dive 'n' Movies will be held again this summer and a range of other celebrations are planned during the season.
Jamberoo Action Park founder Jim Eddy said 2020 has been the most challenging year in the attraction's 40 year history but it is not going to stop his plans to keep investing in the park. The $7million investment in a high adrenaline" dual waterslide called Grand Gorge Falls and a new family water play area called Koala Kove has been pushed back a year or two but will proceed and be followed by more new rides.
