On Facebook, organisers of the festival announced due to ongoing event restrictions the Fairgrounds Festival won't be going ahead in 2020.
"While we'll miss you this summer, this is by no means a goodbye. We're busy making plans for our big return in 2021 and can't wait for you all to join us," the post said.
"In the meantime, please take care of our beloved Berry for us. The Shoalhaven region of NSW was among the most devastated by the 2019-20 bushfire season.
"We hope you'll still visit this spectacular part of the world, take in the surrounds and support its wonderful community and businesses. We'll be there in spirit."
The Fairgrounds Festival has been a big boost to the local economy.
In December 2018, about 6000 people visited the Shoalhaven for the fourth annual Fairgrounds Festival, which generated almost $3 million in the local economy.
Shoalhaven events like the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival and South Coast Food and Wine Festival have already been cancelled or postponed.
