Throughout the four games against the Bay and Basin Bombers and one against the Kiama Power, at one of the most picturesque grounds in the Shoalhaven, numerous young stars showed why they are destined for big things on the Australian Football field.
In particular, the under 13s mixed fixture was an absolute thriller, as the Tigers held off a late charge to defeat the Bombers 5.4-34 to 3.4-22.
Following this tight round eight contest, Lyn Robinson's Tigers smashed the Bombers 10.6-66 to 1.0-6 in the under 15 girls.
In the big win, Kiah Shine kicked five majors, as Tully Bagnall (two), Hannah Phillips (two) and Riley Sutherland also scored.
In earlier matches against Bay and Basin, the Bombers overpowered the Tigers 9.14-68 to 2.3-15 in the under 11s, while the two under nines sides never stopped trying during their fixture.
While in the AFL South Coast Illawarra fixture also at Kangaroo Valley, Bomaderry smashed Kiama Thunder 13.14-92 to 0.3-3, thanks to five goals from Taeshaun Williams.
Finally, the combined Tiger/Swans under 17s side thrashed Northern Districts 17.18-120 to 0.3-3 at Myimbarr Oval - with both Fergus Priest and Taidgh Larkins kicking four majors each.
Next round, all four Bomaderry AFL Shoalhaven Junior teams head to West Street Oval to face the Shoalhaven Giants.
The under nines start proceedings at 9am, followed by the under 11s (10.10am), under 15s girls (11.20am) and under 13s (12.30pm).
Elsewhere, the Tigers' under 15s side travel to Ulladulla Sports Ground to play Batemans Bay, while the under 17s squad face the combined Lions/Kangaroos outfit at Figtree.
