It was not the night for Basin under 15 boys, with both sides going down in their respective matches.
The under 15 Bs took on Shoalhaven United Grizzlies suffering a 3-2 loss with goals to Thomas Schofield and Craig Rowley, while the under 15As were unlucky not to get up, with Illaroo claiming the game 1-nil.
Their under 12 girls had a make-up game on Wednesday night against top-of-the-ladder Shoalhaven Heads.
Reflective of both teams dominance in the competition, the game finished with a 3-all draw with a brace to Lily Heckenberg and goal to Shilah Soens.
The girls then backed up on Saturday morning at Lighthouse Oval, securing a 6-2 win over Milton-Ulladulla.
Leilani Bagley scored herself a hat-trick and Lily Heckenberg, Samantha Wallace and Tia Kingma all found the back of the net.
The girls remain in second position, two points behind Shoalhaven Heads-Berry and will take on Huskisson-Vincentia White at home.
Basin's under 14 girls had a 2-1 loss in a tight match against United.
A few extra minutes on the buzzer would have made a difference with the girls attacking hard until the end.
Marcelle Holden was the goal scorer for the team.
The under 13 boys B grade had a nil-all draw against Sussex Inlet at home.
Finals will depend on the boys getting a win this week.
Dragons' under 13 boys A grade took out Illaroo Red 3-2 with Jim Dicker, Nayt Perez and Henry Small all scoring.
This puts the boys on top of the ladder, with a win this week needed to take out competition championship.
The senior men's started out the round with a convincing win to the over 35s.
Braces from Danny Shaw and Mark Schutz and a goal each from Brian Booth and Peter Roth delivered a 6-nil win over Husky Green.
The boys sit on top of the ladder on equal points with both Sussex and Milton.
On Saturday, reserve grade men had a bye.
They currently sit in first position on the ladder with two rounds left.
Third grade and first grade travelled to Sussex.
Third grade was unable to get past Sussex and finished up with a 2-nil loss.
Ryan Marr made numerous great saves in goals, with Alex Morvai out until next week.
First grade dazzled spectators with some seriously sophisticated football.
Despite a number of calls going against them, Cain Mooy delivered a beautiful goal from outside the 18-yard box with Tim White securing the boys win with the second goal.
Basin's women had an unlucky night on Tuesday with all three grades going down to Heads.
Third grade let an early goal, and despite multiple attacks on goal for the rest of the game, the team were unable to find the back of the net.
Reserve grade went down 3-nil and first grade lost 3-1 with Halle Grainger scoring for the Basin.
