DESPITE coming into the match on the back of two straight wins, the Shoalhaven Rugby Club were no match for competition front-runners Avondale on Saturday, losing 46-10 at Rugby Park.

The visitors' Illawarra Rugby first grade win, which takes them to 4-0 in 2020, was set up by tries to Dre Richardson (two), Anthone Amone, Owen Ranfurly, Jake Kamire, Taviti Amone and Othello Heka - with Vaigafa Leota landing three conversions.
In the loss, Blake Gurney and Harri Hibbs crossed for five-pointers.
Elsewhere in round four, Shamrocks edged Vikings 17-12, thanks to efforts by Maciu Gauna, Gareth Thomas and Damien Clark, while Kiama held on to defeat Tech Waratahs 22-17 - with Nathan Milthorpe, Ethan Ford and Kadin Cowley scoring for the victors.
The last game was won by Campbelltown, who downed Camden 31-17, on the back of tries from Alex Sherwin, Hector Tapueluelo, Atelemo Katoa and Sam Maseafa.
Next up for the Shoals, who are now 2-2 on the season, is another home fixture against local rivals Kiama.
