THE Bomaderry Tigers solidified second spot on the Shoalhaven District Football Association first grade ladder on Saturday by thumping the Culburra Cougars 6-1.

At Bomaderry Oval, Cougars' Hugh Harrison opened the scoring in the 24th minute - before Brendan Kellett levelled the game for the hosts in the 30th minute.
Six minutes later, the Tigers had their first lead of the match when Ben Seyffer found the back of the net, to give the hosts a 2-1 lead at the break.
The black and golds took their game to another level in the second half, starting Kellett's second in the 66th minute.
Seffyer grabbed his brace three minutes later before a Luke Jones own-goal made in 5-1 in the 71st minute.
The scoring was rounded out by Jordan Haddow in the 88th minute, to make it 6-1 at full-time.
This victory, their fifth of the season, moves the Tigers onto 15 points - four behind league-leaders St Georges Basin, who defeated Sussex Inlet 2-nil.
At the Thompson Street Sporting Complex, goals from Cain Mooy and Tim White - who was later shown a red card - secured Craig Holden's side all three points.
Sitting in third is Huskisson-Vincentia, who thrashed Shoalhaven Heads-Berry 6-nil at the Huskisson Sporting Field.
Two goals each from Gary Masterson and Lloyd Nash, as well as strikes from Lewis Archibald and Jayden Lee, secured the premiers their victory of 2020.
The other win of round seven went to Illaroo, who thumped Shoalhaven United 5-2 at Sharman Park.
Alex Cheyne opened the scoring for Andrew Timbs' Roos, with goals in both the 13th and 17th minutes.
Bears' Kaine Good responded in the 55th minute before Roos' Evan Leedham restored the two-goal advantage less than one minute later.
Eight minutes later, Leedham had his second before Cheyne completed his hat-trick.
The day's scoring was completed by an own-goal by Illaroo's Cameron Mitchell - making it 5-2.
The final match of this round of the Blackmore Bolden Shield ended in a 1-all between Milton-Ulladulla and Callala.
It took Chris Karacsonyi just three minutes to open the Panthers' account before William Patterson levelled the score in the 14th minute.
This draw keeps the Panthers in fourth position on 10 points.
Next round, Culburra host Illaroo, Callala takes on Huskisson, United battles Sussex, Basin lock horns with Milton and Heads face Bomaderry.
