A Bunnings spokesperson said construction is progressing as planned at the new warehouse.
"The roof of the warehouse is now on, bagged goods canopy completed and the internal mezzanine office construction is underway," the spokesperson said.
"Window glazing is also complete and shortly the internal retail slabs will start.
"The store is still on track to open late this year."
The new complex has a massive footprint fronting the Princes Highway at South Nowra.
The former building was removed and demolished in the last quarter of 2019, making way for a complex that will be two and a half times bigger than the previous store on the site.
The new complex will expand from the previous gross floor area of 6,248 square metres to 14,130 square metres, with parking to be extended from the current 225 spaces to 428 spaces.
The hardware and building supplies warehouse, includes a garden centre above an undercroft car parking level.
The new design will see the former complex layout on the site flipped, with the timber trade area moving to the south of the property, and an outdoor nursery and bagged goods canopy moving to the northern end.
The construction also includes a café, office, amenities, service road/ramps and loading areas.
