The 50-year-old finished first in the Athletics NSW State Short Course Cross Country Championships 50+ women's event, at Kembla Joggers Cross Country home course.
The Victory Runners athlete clocked a time of 17.31, edging out Naina Jerath (18.06) and Zoe Melling (18.41).
This victory secured Suffolk her 260th gold medal - part of her total tally of 446 (including 111 silver and 75 bronze) which she's collected since 1987.
If not for COVID-19, Suffolk would have preparing for the Alice Springs Masters Games, Pan-Pacific Masters Games and 2021 Oceania Masters Athletics Championships in Norfolk Island - which have all been cancelled.
She will now turn her attentions to the Athletics NSW State Cross Country Championships at Willandra to be held on September 5 and 6 (after originally being slated for Augest 8-9 before being postponed).
She also intends to compete at Perth's Australian Masters Games and Canberra's Australian Masters Athletics Championships in 2021.
