The South Coast Branch, Due to COVID-19, wasn't able to host their annual awards gala, with president Steve Jones revealing all the recipients online instead.
Leading the way were Mollymook's Payton Williams and Sam Zustovich, who were named open female and under 19s male competitors of the year respectively.
Other Mollymook athletes to receive awards were Karla Jones (under 14-15s female), Jack Bridges (under 17s male) and Tony Ireland (masters male) - with their patrol one team claiming the Lifesaving Patrol Team of the Year prize.
The biggest contingent of awards went to the Kiama Downs club, who won 10 prizes.
They included Eli Quinn (under 8-10s male), Ginger Siasat (under 8-10 female), Miller Siasat (under 11-13s male), Nathan Foster (Coach of the Year), Aidan Hazell (Female Lifesaver of the Year), Bob Sinclair (Male Lifesaver of the Year), Ella Cleal Cook (Young Volunteer of the Year), Trina Jensen (Assessor of the Year), Steven Guy (Trainer of the Year) and Jan Horspool (Club Administrator of the Year).
Not to be outdone, Shellharbour capped off a massive season by taking out South Coast Branch's Club of the Year.
Other major awards won by Shellharbour included Emma Thomas (Young Female Lifesaver of the Year), Paul Schloeffel (Facilitator of the Year), Mitchell Jason (Junior Age Manager of the Year), Will Furney (Junior Activities Volunteer of the Year), Joanne Helson (masters female) and Dene Herbert (Official of the Year).
The club also claimed the Team of the Year and Masters Team of the Year - thanks to strong showings from their female IRB and male IRB squads respectively.
Wrapping up the award winners were Kiama pair Toby Streamer (Male Young Lifesaver of the Year) and Brad More (Volunteer of the Year).
