A malamute great dane cross, at just 10 months old Rocco is seeking his forever home.
He's still a pup, and needs a family who will give him plenty of exercise, take him for adventures, and include him as part of their family.
As a big baby Rocco does need some more training in basic madders, expecially how to walk nicely on a lead and contain his enthusiasm at meeting new people.
Because of this, he would not be suitable for a home with small children, cats, livestock or other small animals.
Rocco loves other dogs, male and female, and would be happiest with a canine companion.
He also loves attention and snuggles.
Rocco can sit, shake hands, and is housetrained, but in return he needs a few things in his new home.
Secure fencing, toys, good quality food and lots of love and attention are essential.
Rocco has an open wound on his back - his vet is happy with the way it's healing and said he can find a new family while it's still healing, but it may take a little while to be fully healed.
Any existing dogs must come to the shelter and meet Rocco before and adoption can be approved.
