The 10th season of the BBL will start earlier this summer, with the Stars' opening match to be played at the MCG on Saturday, December 5 against the Sydney Thunder.
The Stars will then travel to the Gabba to play the Brisbane Heat, before returning to Melbourne to play the Adelaide Strikers - their inaugural home game at the CitiPower Centre.
The much-anticipated MCG Melbourne Derby against the Renegades will take place on Sunday, January 10, with the return fixture scheduled for Saturday, January 16 at Marvel Stadium.
The earlier start to BBL provides extra time to schedule the 14-game season and allows all home and away fixtures to be completed before school goes back for 2021.
The new BBL finals series which debuted last season will remain, with the decider to take place on Saturday, February 6.
"We're excited to announce the Melbourne Stars' BBL fixtures, to kick-off the first stage of planning for an action-packed summer of cricket," Melbourne Stars general Manager Nick Cummins said.
"Over the next few months we'll confirm our playing lists for the upcoming season and we look forward to sharing this news with our Stars members and fans as it unfolds."
