Mr Ward has a point but it's been drowned out a little by the intrusion of what we'll call toddler politics. Whoever thought it a good idea not to invite the local federal MP Fiona Phillips to the ceremonial sod turning on the new Nowra Bridge on Friday needs to grow up. We had hoped through the triple crises of fire, flood and pandemic, a little more maturity may have entered our political life. Not so, it seems.
