The application is for the construction and use of two bulky goods premises and one vehicle repair station.
The site is just north of the current Shell service station at 269 Princes Highway.
The application is to enable the proposal to be a staged development
KDC Pty Ltd (KDC), acting on behalf of its client KMC Orange Pty, has lodged the application with council.
Since the original development application was lodged the site has been subdivided. It currently supports a right of carriage way, exit driveway and servicing driveway as required under the parent subdivision development application and a clear pad site purpose for the construction of the vehicle repairs and bulky goods.
The purpose of this modification is to enable development works to occur on site and allow the approved vehicle repair station to be constructed and operating prior to the construction and use of the other two approved bulky good premises.
The proposed vehicle repair station will be 486 square metres in size, while the two bulky goods buildings will be 470 and 472 square metres respectively.
