The new $27.8 million complex is taking shape with the exteriors prefab concrete walls in place, clearly marking the building's massive footprint which fronts the Princes Highway at South Nowra.
Bunnings area manager Rebecca James said the construction works were progressing as planned.
"Nearly all panels have now been stood, structural steelworks are progressing well and painting of the building has begun," she said.

"The store is expected to open in late 2020 and we look forward to continuing to provide the local Nowra community with a wide range of home improvement products backed by the best service."
The former building was removed and demolished in the last quarter of 2019, making way for a complex that will be two and a half times bigger than the previous store on the site.
Recycling and reuse were the themes of the demolition work, with the concrete walls from the perimeter of the building crushed and reused on-site as a sub-base under the new pavements in the existing car park, while the structural steel frames and external wall and roof sheeting were sent to metal recyclers.
The new complex will expand from the previous gross floor area of 6,248 square metres to 14,130 square metres. Parking to be extended from the current 225 spaces to 428 spaces.
The hardware and building supplies warehouse, includes a garden centre above an undercroft car parking level.
The new design will see the current complex layout on the site flipped, with the timber trade area moving to the south of the property, and an outdoor nursery and bagged goods canopy moving to the northern end.
The construction also includes a café, office, amenities, service road/ramps and loading areas and is expected to be open in late 2020.
Bunnings is currently operating from the former Master's site further south on the Princes Highway, east of the Central Avenue roundabout.
