Although police would not release any details, Mrs Holland was well-known within the Jervis Bay community where she had lived for many years.
She was extremely community minded and was heavily involved in a number of local organisations such as Red Cross, Probus, Senior Citizens, the Collingwood Beach Cleanup Crew and many more.
This was on full show at her 90th birthday celebrations last year where numerous group representatives made speeches.
Mrs Holland was a worker and was always among the first to put her hand up and help. Rather than wait for someone to do a task, she would, as they say "roll up her sleeves" and "get the job done".
She described Collingwood Beach as her sanctuary. She lived just streets away and would swim at the beach, often with a group of friends and daughter, each day. A walk and a swim at her beloved beach were part of her daily routine and had been for years.
She was living the dream in her piece or paradise that she called home and would often tell everyone that.
Sally's life and her kindness will always be felt by many people, not just in the Jervis Bay area, but the wider Shoalhaven community.
What an amazing woman, what an amazing life she lived.
