At the 2020 Devonport ITU World Paratriathlon Series, the Bomaderry High School alumnus and his partner Sam Douglas clocked a time of 1:06:36, to finish 20 seconds ahead of Serbia's Lazar Filipovic.
The 36-year-old, fresh off a win at Newcastle's OTU Paratriathlon Oceania Championships, recorded splits of 10:48 (swim), 32:23 (bike) and 17:48 (run) - with the latter sealing the victory.
This result moves the pair up to third PTVI men's rankings with 2079.57 points - sitting only behind Great Britain's Dave Ellis (2328.74) and Spain's Héctor Catal Laparra (2261.31).
