The game was the initiative of West Pymble who wanted to support the South Coast community after the recent bushfires.
"With a very passionate group of young cricketers, a cricket tour was the ideal event combining a game of cricket plus a night's stay in the local community," team coach Hamish Bayliss said.
"Our club is very grateful for the enthusiasm and passion shown by North Nowra club secretary Lisa Kennedy, to make the fixture possible in such a short period of time.
"Our players and parents were warmly welcomed by North Nowra".
The match was 20 overs a side with each player being given the opportunity to bat and bowl.
Whilst the match result was not recorded, both teams and the game of cricket were the winners.
Nathan Vonk from North Nowra was recognised as the player of the match for his all-round batting, bowling and fielding effort and was presented with a West Pymble Cricket Club cap.
As recognition for the spirit in which the match was played and the great afternoon for both players and families, West Pymble presented North Nowra with a framed club playing shirt signed by all of the West Pymble players.
"For many of our players it was their first cricket tour and I hope its certainly not their last," Hamish said.
"We hope we can afford North Nowra Cambewarra Cricket Club the same hospitality in West Pymble in the future."
North Nowra team coach James Hooke said it was certainly an event the club would like to continue to build upon and forge friendships with the West Pymble Club in future seasons.
