The Men's Shed was given the grant on Tuesday, February 18 as part of the Federal Government's Stronger Communities Program.
Gilmore MP Fiona Phillips, who was there to present the money, said the upgrade would attract more members and make the workshop more accessible.
"Men's Sheds play a vital role in our community, creating a meaningful space for men to give back to their communities and contributing to their health, wellbeing and happiness," Mrs Phillips said.

"After everything our community has been through over the last few months, that mateship and support of others is more important than ever and that is why I am delighted to have secured this funding for the Shoalhaven Heads Men's Shed.
"These much-needed upgrades will revitalise the ageing facility, creating a new kitchen, providing disability access and improving the WHS systems."
The Stronger Communities Programme provides every electorate with $150,000 to fund small capital projects. The grants are between $2,500 and $20,000 and can only fund up to 50 per cent of the project.
