On February 18 1950 Shirley Jean McKenzie and Jack Bramely were married at Scotts Presbyterian Church Berry and have lived a very happy and full life in the beautiful town ever since.
They built their dream home in Clarence Street and raised their sons, Graeme and Paul. Graeme arrived in 1853 and Paul in 1955.
They both enjoyed sport and were involved in tennis, golf and bowls. In 2007 they moved from the family home in Clarence Street to The Grange. A vacancy arose at the Masonic Village six years ago and they made yet another move to a lovely unit in the complex, which Shirley still calls home. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago Jack moved to the full care unit home section of the Masonic Village. With daily visits from Shirley, love is still in the air, and they continue to treasure each other's company.
They celebrated their 70-year milestone at the Gerroa Boat Fishermans Club with family and friends.
