The event is relocating from Mollymook for the day to avoid predicted poor weather and surf conditions - with racing running from 7am to 5pm.
Eurobodalla Council's event coordinator Leisa Tague said heavier than usual traffic was expected in the area, with up to 50 vehicles with boat trailers arriving on Saturday morning, along with additional operational crew and spectators.
"It's an elimination event and as competitors drop out, we expect any parking congestion to ease from midday on," she said.

Tague said the relocation was a good example of neighbouring shires working together to keep events running smoothly.
Saturday's racing starts with under 19 male, under 19 female and under 23 female, followed late morning with open male, open female and under 23 male.
Three rounds of Australia vs New Zealand Tran Tasman series will also take place throughout the day.
