Malcolm, who plays for Batemans Bay, was named in the NSW Green team for the February 20 to 27 in Ballarat, following his solid performances at the recent Under 15 State Challenge held at Blacktown International Sportspark.
During the two-day tournament (December 15 and 16), Malcolm's 30 runs and one wickets helped his Country Thunder, also featuring Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Alex Dobson, split their matches against Metro Thunder and Sixers.
Joining Malcolm in the NSW Green side, coached by North Nowra-Cambewarra product Philip Wells, are Jonah Trope, Cameron Tunks, Harjas Singh, Anthony Atlee, Joseph Gillard, James Moore, Daniel Gauci, Manoj Weerasingham, Lachlan Carlyle, Bryce Cook, Daniel Thompson, Toby Laughton and Matt Sidhu, who will skipper the side.
NSW Green will open their 50-over tournament against South Australia at Northern Oval on February 20.
This will be followed by pool matches against ACT (February 21), Western Australia (February 23), Northern Territory (February 24) and Queensland (February 26) - before finals commence on February 27.
