Special community meetings aimed at assisting the community throughout the bushfire recovery phase will be held at various locations within Shoalhaven City over the next week.

Hosted by Shoalhaven City Council the community meetings will share the latest recovery information, inform of future recovery activities and provide residents, a platform to seek further information and ask questions of relevant stakeholders.
The first meeting will be held this afternoon, Monday, February 3 at Ulladulla at the Ulladulla Civic Centre, 81B Princes Highway, between 5-6pm.
Further meetings will be held at Sanctuary Point on Wednesday, February 5, 5-6pm, at Bomaderry on Thursday, February 6, 5-6pm and at Kangaroo Valley on Monday, February 10, 5-6pm.
Council is committed to emerging from this bushfire and its impacts in a better, stronger and more resilient position than it was prior to the bushfire emergency.
The community meetings are the first step to get the city back on its feet.
Shoalhaven City Council CEO, Stephen Dunshea, Mayor Amanda Findley, NSW RFS Incident Controller Superintendent Mark Williams and Recovery Coordinator, Vince Di Pietro AM will be in attendance, and available to provide an update on the bushfire recovery in the Shoalhaven.
For residents unable to attend the meetings, council encourages them to visit the Bushfire Recovery Centre at the Ulladulla Civic Centre, or to call 13 77 88. Alternatively, community members can view the meeting through the Shoalhaven City Council Facebook Page's live stream.
