The NSW bushfires have cut communication to tens of thousands of people.
A spokesperson said nbn was working with emergency services to reach areas cut off from communication.
"We have generators on standby that will be deployed to priority areas as soon as these are accessible," the spokesperson said on Monday, January 6.
"We are also staging materials and people in Canberra and Wollongong, ready to repair impacted sites as soon as possible.
"Technicians are currently onsite working to recover damaged infrastructure at Lake Conjola.
"Inspections of other infrastructure in the area are being undertaken where access has been permitted. Generator deployments are also underway in parts of the Bermagui region today."
