"I don't believe it's a true reflection of academic ability," she said.
"And I can still be a nice person regardless of my ATAR, so I thought it would be hypocritical to place too much value on it."
She expected to get an ATAR result somewhere in the 60s. Although she expected to be nervous when opening her results, she said she felt surprisingly calm.

And she's claimed a cool 91.95 - not that she needs it.
She was accepted to study a two-year diploma of screen acting in Sydney earlier this year.
"I'm really excited, it's everything I want to do," she said.
Ms Veale hopes when she graduates she can make a living doing what she loves, and earn enough money to travel.
