Shoalhaven City Council through local contractors IJED Electrical and Data have installed eight new 200W LED car park lights.
In a project costing $30,000, the lights will improve disability access.
The new lights have been installed in both all-day car parks sections in Osborne Street and the bottom section of the Collins Way eastern side near the School of Arts area adjacent to the St Vincent de Paul Society shop.

The first of the new lights were installed last Friday with a crane, used in the early hours of the morning before the car parks start to fill with Nowra CBD workers.
The remaining three lights were installed on Monday morning in a similar operation and are expected to be operational by tonight (Monday).
