"I thought I played well at nationals," Spillane said.
"It's a very competitive tournament, so I'm happy with how I played overall.
"To come home with a silver medal really means a lot, especially since it was my last nationals.
"Despite going down in the final, all of us girls gave it our all and I'm really proud of all our efforts throughout the whole weekend."
Spillane, who played in Hong Kong with the Illawarriors last year, will headline the Central Coast Seahawks under 18s side, to be coached David Gee, from December 13 to 14 at Auckland's Pakuranga Rugby Park.

"I'm really grateful to be selected and I can't wait to get over there and play.
"While in New Zealand, I want to take in as much of the experience and enjoy my time over there.
"I hope I play well and I wish the same for all my teammates."
