Coming into her 'home race' in 10th, after solid showings at the Coolangatta Gold and Burleigh Heads, the St Johns alumna gave her all during the tough three races - which were all ran for 10 minutes, with five minutes in between.
Higgison, who competes for Northcliffe, finished mid-pack in all three super sprint races, to finish on 37 cumulative points - seeing her finish in 13th with winner Lana Rogers chalk up 71 points.
This result leaves Higgison in 12th (on 28 points - with Rogers leading on 60) going into round four at Surfers Paradise on December 15 - which is the 'specialist' event.
