After losing their NSW Women's Premier Cricket opener to Universities, despite strong performances by Kelly (32) and Woods (29 and 2/42), the Slayers hosted Parramatta in round two at Glenn McGrath Oval.
The visitors on Saturday won the toss and sent in the Slayers, seeing the hosts post 9/248, led by 71 from Cailyn Fountain and 52 from Kelly.

In reply, 4/48 from North Nowra-Cambewarra product Woods saw Parramatta finish at 9/234 - to secure the 14-run win.
St Georges Basin's Kelly, Woods and their Slayers will next play Sydney at Glenn McGrath Oval.
This 50-over campaign follows the Slayers' T20 assault, in which they won one of their three Sixers Conference fixtures.
